Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer in the arms of her daughter at The Tom Baker Cancer Centre, Calgary, Alberta on March 27, 2011, Trix McGrath of Airdrie, AB formerly of Torbay, NL, aged 65 years. Predeceased by parents Alfred (Hop) and Loretta Everson. Left with many fond and loving memories are three sons: Noel of St. John’s and his children Eileen, Tommy and Allan; Karl of Airdrie, AB (fiancée Heather Buist) and his daughter Haleigh; and Billy of St. John’s; one daughter, Melissa Murphy of Airdrie, AB (husband Sean) and their children Peyton and Graidy; two sisters Donna Dooley of Cobourg, ON and Peach Everson (husband Peter) of Flatrock; aunts Gen Tapper, Torbay; Cecilia Burling, ON; and Angela Foster, Florida. Also leaving to mourn numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of friends in both Newfoundland and Alberta. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay on Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian burial to take place on Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
