Florrie died quietly and gently in her sleep at the age of 95, on Saturday, July 25, 2009. She was predeceased by sisters: Ada, Allison, Nina, and brother Kenneth. She leaves to mourn husband Lawrence; son Barry and his wife Heather; sisters: Anne, Kathleen, Lavinia, and brothers: Reuben, Oliver, Lester and his wife Viola. Visitation will take place at Stacey's Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue, Gander on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Fraser Road United Church at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. Flowers are also appreciated.
