KING, Mabel R.– of Cottlesville. Passed peacefully away at Twillingate on March 29, 2011 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Maude Cooper, husband Arthur R., son Lawrence, grandchildren: Craig, Ruby and baby Pamela King, brothers and sisters: Rita, Otto, Pleamon, Elizabeth, Jessie, Selena and Wallace. Lovingly remembered by daughters and sons: Nellie (Leo) Elliott, Summerford, Doris King, St. John’s, Wayne (Louise), Clarenville, Wanda (Wayne) Earle, Summerford, Graham, Cottlesville, Verlie (Dan) Canning, Cottlesville; daughter-in-law Norma, Toronto; brother Gordon Cooper, Cottlesville; seven granddaughters and six grandsons; nine great-grandchildren, also a large circle of friends. A service to celebrate her life was held at the Salvation Army Citadel, Summerford on March 31st with interment at the Cottlesville Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Building Fund, Summerford.
