Ronald Savoie
The passing of Ronald J. Savoie of Fredericton occurred unexpectedly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday, April 1, 2011. Born May 30, 1948 in Barker’s Point, N.B., he was the son of the late Ovila and Doris (Richard) Savoie. Ronald was Roman Catholic by faith. Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Anita (Cimolino) Savoie and his special feline companion “Bandit”. He is also survived by his two loving and devoted daughters, Tanya Munn and her husband Doug Munn of Doaktown, N.B. and Tina McDermaid and her husband Mike McDermaid of New Maryland, N.B.; cherished “Grampy” and “Papa” to his three grandchildren, Sarah Munn, Danielle McDermaid and Andrew McDermaid. Also survived by his sister, Ann Pilkie and her husband Stan Pilkie of London, Ontario.
The family will receive condolences at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 5, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Monte Peters officiating. Interment in St. Anthony’s Cemetery at a later date.
