Aubrey Bulmer
1921 - 2011 - Aubrey L. Bulmer, 89, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Friday April 1, 2011. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late George and Carrie (Mullin) Bulmer. He served his country first with the Carleton & York Regiment and then with the North Shore Regiment from 1939-1945 and was mentioned in dispatch. He retired from Corrections Canada in Dorchester with 33 years service. Aubrey will be sadly missed by his daughters, Fay Bulach, Moncton and Anne Cail (Willard), Lutes Mountain; son, Warren Bulmer (Brenda), Colpitts Settlement; grandchildren, Kimberly Symes (Kevin), Kristina Buchanan (Stewart), Kent Bulmer (Rhonda), Morgan and Brandon Cail; SIX great grandchildren; brothers, Vincent (Belle) and Edwin (late Dorothy); several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Lily (Mattinson) Bulmer (July 2008); son, Robert, grandson, Christopher; brothers, Reginald (Norma), James (Inge) and infant brothers, Donald and Ronald.
In honoring Aubrey’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), in care of arrangements.
