Peacefully at Woodland Villa, Long Sault, with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, April 2, 2011, Jessie Athelia Billard of Morrisburg in her 82nd year.
Beloved wife of the late Fred Billard (2005). Dear mother of Christine (Murray) Hains of Casselman, Thomas (Laura) of Kirkwall, Ont., Esther (Tony Kuepferling) of Iroquois and Tracy (Marc) Lajoie of Winnipeg Man. Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren. Cherished sister of Catherine (late Bob) Chandler of Queensland, N.S., Christine (Angus) MacLeod of Ross Ferry, N.S., Rebecca (Paul) Penny of Debert, N.S.; and brother-in-law, Carman MacLeod of South Bar, N.S. Loved by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by sisters, Georgine Caldwell, Marguerite MacLeod, Marsha Caldwell, brothers, James and Andrew Caldwell and sister-in-law, Ethel Caldwell.
Friends will be received at the Parker Funeral Home, 28 Sir James Morris Dr., Morrisburg on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 5 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom Billard officiating. Cremation with inurnment later at Iroquois Point Cemetery.
