Peacefully at Perrin’s View Lodge, Clinton, on Tuesday July 28, 2009, of Ethel (Clarke) Perrin, aged 103 years. Born on December 13, 1905, in Paradise, Newfoundland, daughter of the late William John and Margret (Janes) Clarke. Predeceased by her husband John, two infant daughters, two brothers and two sisters. Leaving to mourn three sons Harold (Stella deceased), William (Wanda) and John (Geraldine), eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, two sisters and a large number of nieces and nephews. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, where visitation was held on Tuesday evening from 7-9, then forwarded to the Hickey’s Funeral Home, 571 Conception Bay Highway, Kelligrews, Newfoundland (709-834-3051) for visitation on Friday from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Funeral service Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Salvation Army Citadel Corps, Long Pond, C.B.S., Newfoundland. Interment in Salvation Army Cemetery, Long Pond.
