Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, April 3rd, 2011 at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit. Douglas Joseph Congdon in his 52nd year. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Joan Congdon. Leaving to mourn his sisters: Jo-Ann (Ron) LeDrew and Sheila (Wayne) Courish; brother: John (Yvonne). Also mourning his loss is his niece: Michelle Courish (Michael Murphy) and nephew: Shaun Courish (Susan Pardy); Nephews: Ron LeDrew (Lynn Power) Christopher LeDrew (Michelle Lester) and Andrew LeDrew (Julia Howell) and great nephews; Scott and Samuel LeDrew, Maxwell and Russell LeDrew. Also leaving to mourn Gabrielle who held a special place in his heart. As well as a large number of relatives, friends and co-workers at Nuway Kitchens. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 6th, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church.
