Passed away on April 1, 2011 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Roy Greening, age 70 years. Predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Phoebe Greening and parents-in-law, Harold and Mamie Mahoney. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Sybil; daughter, JoAnn (Mike); grandson Michael Aker (Pop’s Man); Aunt Reta Laytn (Toronto); sister, Helen Roberts (Wes); sister-in-law, Sharon Butler (Larry); best buddy, Wayne Parsons (Linda) and of course his dog, Maggie. Roy will also be missed by close friends and relatives. Roy was well known to many from his days as an Inspector for the Canadian Welding Bureau and Welding Instructor with the College of the North Atlantic. A special thank you for the loving care and attention Roy received from the staff of 2 West at the Escasoni Complex. Cremation has taken place at Roy’s request and a memorial service will take place at a later date. At the family’s request there will be no flowers or donations.
