Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on Saturday, April 2nd 2011, after a lengthy illness. George Vivian Kennedy aged 83 years. Predeceased by his parents James and Selina Kennedy; brothers: Harvey, Rex, and Jim; and sister, Marie. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Beatrice (Babs); daughter Denise; special niece Ruth; brother, Fred (Hilda) of Moncton N.B.; sister, Eileen (Hendri) of Moncton N.B.; also a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially K9 companions Toby and Holly. A special thank you to the staff of Agnes Pratt Nursing Home for the loving care provided to George — it will never be forgotten. At George’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Tuesday, April 5th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, April 6th 2011 at 2pm. Inurnment will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in George’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of one’s choice.
