Of Northern Bay, NL, died as the result of a tragic automobile accident in Bay Roberts on July 27, 2009. Mr. Hinchey was in his 91st year. He leaves to mourn his loving family: sons John (Flora), Gerald (Linda), Peter and James Morgan; daughter-in-law Dianne Hinchey; brother Morgan (Margaret); sisters Mary Noonan, Helen, Agatha, and Angela (Myles) Philpott; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by wife Ellen (nee Doyle); sons William, Angus, Myron and Patrick, parents John & Bridget, sister Madeline; brothers Patrick and William (Jane); brother-in-law Mike Noonan. The Funeral Mass will take place at Corpus Christi R.C. Church and Cemetery, Northern Bay, NL, on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Hopkin’s Funeral Home, Northern Bay, NL between the hours of 1-4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
