It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo on April 1, 2011 after a brief illness. She was born in North Devon, N.B. the daughter of the late Andrew and Grace (Smith) Stickels. She was a teacher and taught at schools in New Brunswick and Ontario. She also worked for the Training and Development Branch of the R.C.M.P. in Ottawa. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Wallingford of Ottawa, her son Dr. Ian Mackenzie of Vancouver, her sisters Hellen Malloy and Joyce Parke-Taylor of Fredericton, a niece, three nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held in Ottawa at a later date.
