Passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with Cancer, Edward (Ned) Lawlor of Paradise, age 65. Predeceased by his son David, parents Edward Sr. and Gertrude Lawlor, sister Mary (Alec) Jones and nephew Lewis Lawlor. Left with loving memories his son Edward, daughter-in-law and friend Brandy; his three grandchildren, the light of his life, grandson Alex, granddaughters Mackenzie (Miss) and Morgan. Also left to mourn Ned's life long friend and Ed's mom, Muriel Lawlor. Special sister and caregiver Bridget (Cyril - deceased) Coombs. Also left to mourn sisters Joan (Marshall - deceased) Rodgers and Nora (Eric) Sinclair; brothers: Ben (Carol) Lawlor, Richard (Ann) Lawlor, Jim (Beth) Whalen, Pat (Shea) Whalen, as well as a long list of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 1045 Topsail Road. Visitation from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Cremation to follow. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 30th, 2009 at 10 a.m. from Holy Family Parish, Paradise. Interment to follow at St. Thomas of Villa Nova Cemetery, Topsail.
