It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wayne Gerard Perry announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, July 25th, 2009, surrounded by loving family, at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 55 years. He was predeceased by his father, Brendan and brother Don (survived by Barbara, Corner Brook). Left with fond and loving memories are his wife and dearest friend Pamela Walsh; mother Helen, Corner Brook; brothers: Bill (Susan), Oshawa, ON, Dave (Erika), Corner Brook, Kenny (Alison), Richmond Hill, ON; sister: Brenda (Doug), Ottawa, ON; mother- and father-in law John and Patricia Walsh, St. John’s; brothers-in-law John (Cindy), Bernard (Laurie), David (Paulette) all of St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Joanne Tobin (Tom), Witless Bay, and Patricia, St. John’s. Wayne’s family and many friends will be happy to know that his tremendous courage, sense of humor, wit, and passion for life remained strong to the end. He will remain an inspiration to all who knew him. Visitation will take place on Friday, July 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1st at 10:30 a.m., Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made in Wayne’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
