Theriault, Edward Daley - 87 of Sandy Cove, Digby Co. passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Mink Cove, he was the son of the late Walter & Stella Freda (Hersey) Theriault. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Edward was a veteran of WWII having served with the RCAF. The things he loved the most were praying, reading the bible & telling others about the Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ. Edward is survived by his daughter, Maureen (Edwin) Schofield, Coldbrook; sons, Edward (Patricia), Coldbrook; Melvin (Eva), New Minas; Maxwell (companion, Darla Grant), Sandy Cove; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife the former, Faith Crowell and sister, Margaret Carty. Visitation was preceding the funeral service from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 3rd all from the Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church, Tiddville, Digby Co. Burial took place in the United Baptist Church Cemetery, Sandy Cove, Digby Co. Pastor Charles Belong officiated. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
