Marvin passed away peacefully on April 1, 2011 at the Kamloops Hospice Association at the age of 71 years.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ottenbriet of Kamloops; daughter, Tricia (Jeff) MacDonald and granddaughters, Jacqueline and Jenna (Joey) Ray of Canal Flats; son, Marty (Tamara) and grandchildren, Lindsey, Micheal, Alannah and great grandson, Kobyn of Cranbrook; and youngest son Mark, also of Cranbrook; brothers, Verne (Linda) of Kamloops; Lloyd (Carol) of Armstrong; Ernie (Judy) of Victoria; Alan (Darlene) of Kamloops; and sister, Marilyn (Mike) Bruno of Kamloops; and many other family members and friends.
Marvin was predeceased by his father, Ernie (1984) and stepfather, Joe (2007).
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Royal Island Hospital and the Kamloops Hospice Association for all the care and kindness they provided Marvin during his stay.
At Marvin's request there will be no formal service, instead please take a moment to reflect on his life.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Clark's Funeral Services (250)554-2429.
