It is with great sadness that the family of the late Karen Blanchard announce her sudden passing on Friday, July 24, 2009 at the age of 43 years. She leaves to mourn with many precious memories her partner Ronal Mahadeo; children Tyler (Fatima) Blanchard, Shauna Blanchard Mahadeo; grandson Isiaha Blanchard; mother Hilda Blanchard; brothers: Dwayne (Orena White), Adian (Pam); sisters: Theresa (Brent) Sharpe, Stella (Shawn Chaffey) Blanchard, Vivian Blanchard as well as other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father William Blanchard. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will take place following the Mass in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
