Passed away at St. Clare's Hospital, St. John's, on Saturday, March 26th, 2011, Albert E. Rose of Grand Bank, age 74 years. Predeceased by mother & father, Julia & Reginald Rose; Son Wayne Rose; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Annie & George Bungay; brothers, Henry & Garfield Rose; brother-in-law Gerald Strickland. Leaving to mourn: Wife Donnabell; daughter Olive Skinner(Tom) of Sourie, P.E.I.; sons Freeman & Fiancee Bernice, of St. John's NL.; Kevin & Shelly Rose, of Sourie, P.E.I. & Guy & Salonge Rose, of Grand Bank; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 sister, Laura Strickland. Also, a circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev. Tim Graham from St. Albans Anglican Church, Grand Bank, at 2pm on Thursday, March 31st. Interment followed at St. Albans Anglican Cemetery, Grand Bank. Organist was Velma Stewart. Pall Bearers were: Guy Rose, Nathan Rose, Kevin Rose, Freeman Rose, George Rose, Andrew Rose, Lester Murphy, Eric Kendell and Mike Tulk. Donations in his memory may be made to the Rose Family.
