MAHONEY, Carmel J. (nee Galway)– Passed peacefully away on October 28, 2008 surrounded by her six loving children Karen McGrath (Bob), Erin (John Stephenson), Lynn (Eric Stephenson), Tom, Denis (Jacqueline) and John (Leslie Ann). Predeceased by her devoted husband John. Leaving to mourn her twelve grandchildren: Tom, Bob, Aaron, Adrienne, Emily, Alexandra, Kaelan, Nicole, Victoria, John Nicholas, Evan and Mark; her sisters: Mary Tucker, Katherine Devine, Mercedes McCarthy, Teresita Williams and Isabelle Goodridge and her many nieces and nephews. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2008 from St. Pius X Parish with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
