One year ago today God called you away
Each morning when I awaken
And see that you’re not here,
I’m overwhelmed with loneliness
For the one I held so dear

For when you lose a Husband,

I find it hard to write these words,
You were loved so very much,
The more I try the more I cry,
How much I miss your touch.
