Emmeline Pellerine

Emmeline L. Pellerin, 86, of ProTem Health Services and formerly of Mapleton Village, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday morning, April 5, 2011. Born in Baddeck, NS, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen (Hickey) Dollemont. Emmeline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She attended Holy Family Roman Catholic Church and was a former member of the Holy Family Seniors Exercise Group. Emmeline enjoyed knitting, reading, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Emmeline was a loving person, with a great sense of humour and was known as a practical joker at her residence. Emmeline will be sadly missed by her children, Barb LeBlanc (late Gerald “Fish”), Moncton, Jim (Helen), Ottawa, Cathy Fisher (Warren), Dundas, Joanne Pellerin (Stephen), Moncton, Karl (Muriel), Moncton, Keith (Marlene), Moncton; grandchildren, Shelley, Shawn, Steve, Chris, Carrie, Paul, Haillie, Geoff and Matthew; great grandchildren, Alex, Danielle, Jordan, Kai, Kalvin, Isaac and Kaillie; sister, Mary Arsenault (late Archie), Moncton; brothers, Gerry Dollemont (late Doris), Moncton, Harold Dollemont (late Madeline) and Al Dollemont (Sandra), both of Riverview; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Pellerin (January 1982); son, Paul (1974); sisters, Jessie and Tillie; brothers, Joe and Andrew.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Parish Prayers and Sharing of Memories, Thursday evening 8:30 pm at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Falkland Drive, Friday April 8, 2011, 2:00 pm, Rev. Phil Mulligan officiating. Reception following the Mass. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
