HILL, Vina Minnie (Tizzard) – It is with saddened hearts that the children of Vina Hill announce her passing at St. Clare\'s Hospital on October 29, 2008 at the age of 91. Born in Hillgrade, Notre Dame Bay. Predeceased by husband Bonnell (2000) and infant daughter Margaret. Leaving to mourn loving and devoted daughter Martha (Rod Mullett); sons: Aubrey (Ruby), Jack (Fran), Edgar (Bernice) and Carl (Angela); eleven grandchildren: Karen Mullett and Krista (Jeff Silver), David, Scott (Carla) and Andrea (Chris Randell), Carla (Sheldon Hann) and Jackie (Joey Everard), Jason and Adam, Sara and Emma; five great-grandchildren: Alex and Mark Everard, Noah Hill, Jacob Hann and Avery Silver; sister-in-law Rowena Macphee (Tizzard); niece Elizabeth Walsh and nephews: Roger, Gary, Malcolm and Michael Tizzard. Special relatives George Hill, Angela Janes and Martha Andrews. Also leaving to mourn, the wonderful staff at Hillcrest Estates and the many friends she made there over the past 3 1/2 years. Special thank you to Dr. Thavanathan, the nurses of ICU/CCU and Six East at St. Clare’s, as well as Dr. Drover and the staff of Campbell Medical Group. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2008 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., and Saturday, November 1st, 2008 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Service from Wesley United Church on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
