Sister Lucienne was predeceased by her father, Pharaide St. Denis, her mother Marie-Anne, her brother Rene, her sisters, Adelica and Antoinette, her half brother Fernand Bonneville, a nephew Roland Lavoie, many members of her extended family as well as the Sisters of Notre Dame d'Auvergne. Sister Lucienne entered the congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame d'Auvergne in 1926 and went to France for her Novitiate. When she returned, she obtained many diplomas in Education, Arts, and Languages. Having been given a special gift for the little ones, she taught grades one and two for over forty years, mostly in Ponteix. Sister Lucienne was an avid reader. All subjects were interesting. In the community, she was known as our "walking library". She will be remembered as faithful friend, always willing to help. She will be missed by all the Sisters of her Community and her loving family. Sincere thanks to the staff of Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home who cared for her since 2005. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Lemieux's Funeral Home, in Ponteix, SK.
