Comeau, Willie of Manoir Notre-Dame, Murphy Avenue Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday, April 3rd, 2011. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Maurice and Delia (Allain) Comeau. Willie retired from the CNR store shop following 35 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Louis Hebert Council # 6468 for over 35 years, active with St. John Ambulance, and a dedicated Scout Leader for 15 years. He is survived by the love of his life, Yvonne (Hebert) Comeau of Moncton, daughter Simone Murray (Don) of Moncton, son Guy (Roxanne) of Quispamsis, sisters Rita Belliveau (late Abbey), Germaine Comeau both of Moncton, five grandchildren; Charlie, Jennifer, Samantha, Jessee and Natalie, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, evening April 18th, from 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 19th, at Christ-Roi RC Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton, followed by a reception at the Club D’age D'or, Christ-Roi.
