1929 - 2011 - Edith Lacenaire, 81 of Résidence Au Benaise, Saint-Antoine and formerly of Cocagne, passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital on Thursday April 7th, 2011. She was married to the late Nelson Lacenaire (2006). Born in Cocagne on May 23rd, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Telex and the late Véronique (Duguay) Bourque. She will be sadly missed by her five children, Pauline Lacenaire (Cory Ramsden) of Calgary, AB., Paul (Mel Brion Mangahas) of St. Petersberg, FL., Raymond (Suzette) of Moncton, Tony (Donna) of Dieppe, and James (Fernande) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, and her six grandchildren, Marc, Daniel, Justin, Joël, Janelle, and Lindsey. She also leaves to mourn her sister Una Bourque of Saint-Antoine and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Bertha and Auréa and one brother Aquilla.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne on Sunday, April 10th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cocagne Church on Monday, April 11th, 2011 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
