
Terrance "Terry" Hepburn
1950-2011 - Terry Hepburn, 60, of Edmonton, Alberta passed away peacefully on April 7th, 2011 at the Moncton Hospital with his family by his side. He had been staying at the home of his sister, Janice and her family in Weldon, NB during his illness. Terry was born in Moncton on September 1, 1950 the son of the late Stanley "Jack" and Marion (Ready) Hepburn. He worked for the City of Edmonton. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature and was an avid sports fan and especially loved soccer and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Reading, and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles were also a favorite pastime of his. Terry was a very special person who loved his family and friends very much, he would want everyone to cherish all the good times they had together. "What we keep in memory is ours forever." He will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Marion of Fredericton; his partner and best friend, Lorna Robinson of Edmonton, AB; his treasured son, Corey Staples of Ponoka, AB; sisters, Barbara Campbell (Alan) of Ottawa, Nancy Fournier (John) of Moncton, Janice Macaulay (Darrell) of Weldon and Kathy Moorcraft (Danny) of Calgary, AB. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and by his special friends, Lee and Patti Quast of Edmonton and by all his many special buddies in Edmonton, who all held a special place in his heart. He was predeceased by his father, Jack Hepburn.
Honoring Terry's own wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service and Celebration of his Life will be held at the Hillsborough United Church on Sunday, April 10th at 2:30 pm with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Interment will be in the Peoples Cemetery, Malpeque, PEI at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
