Peacefully with her family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 of Mrs. Leonore O’Brien (nee McNeill) in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Claude O’Brien and dear mother of Mike (Patricia). She is also lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Dianne O’Brien, her grandchildren Rob (Jennifer) O’Brien, Erin (Bobby) Davies, Colleen O’Brien (Josh McFall), Andy O’Brien, Kelly (Cory) Bolger, great grandchildren Michael and Ryleigh O’Brien, Tyler and William Davies, Willis and Maeve Bolger and her brother George MacNeill of Don Mills, Ont. She was predeceased by her parents, The Hon Leonard and Regina McNeill, her son David, sisters Virginia (John) Smythe, Isobel (Ernie) Coulson, Helen (Joe) McIver, Hilda ( Howard) Barkley and sister-in-law Ruth MacNeill. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
