Passed away suddenly at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on April 6, 2011 in his 72nd year. Predeceased by parents Karl and Lena Ebert, brothers Paul, Heinz, Otto and Walter, sister-in-law Elizabeth Young, brothers-in-law Richard Noseworthy and Jim French. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 47 years, Mildred (nee French); sons: Paul (Amanda), David; daughter Michelle (Troy) Atyeo; four grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Madison, Allie and Anna; sisters-in-law Almeda Ebert, Eileen Noseworthy, Linda (Dave) Butler and Roma French; brothers-in-law: Robert (Mabel) French, David (Carolann) French, Billy (Cathy) French, Warren French; Raymond Young; nephew and niece Peter and Susan Ebert and a large circle of other family and friends. Manfred, well known as Freddie was a member of Local 740 of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union and a retired employee of Johnson Controls after 37 years of service. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach with visitation on Friday, April 8, 2011, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Bay Roberts on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
