WILLIAMS, Marie Loretta, 68 of Shelburne. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Williams on April 6, 2011 at Roseway Hospital while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Smithville she was the daughter of Marjorie Leblanc of Yarmouth and the late Wilfred Chetwynd, Baccaro. Marie worked in a variety of retail outlets and was, at one time, a co-owner/operator of Loyalist Clothing, eventually retiring from People’s department store. Marie loved spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed gardening and bird watching, especially for cardinals. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Bill, son Darren (Laurie) of Bell Neck, Yarmouth Co., daughter Lisa (Burt), of Dayspring, Lunenburg Co., grandchildren Ashley and Brad, three sisters, Ann, Louise and Donna. She was predeceased by her loving grandparents James and Myrtle Smith. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne.
