1949 – 2011 - Vera Bruce, 61 of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax on Tuesday April 5th, 2011. She was married to the late James Winslow Bruce. Born in Moncton on August 7th, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Emile and the late Imelda (Poirier) Thibodeau. She will be sadly missed by her special friend Yvon Bastarache of Saint-Antoine, one daughter Lolita Thibodeau (Allan Stewart) of Ottawa and one granddaughter Kayla. She also leaves to mourn one sister Lydia Babineau (Normand) of Richiboucto-Village, four brothers, Raymond of Davie, FL., Paul-Emile of Hinton, AB, Michel of Saint-Antoine and Robert of Moncton, and several nephews and nieces.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Sunday April 10th, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm and on Monday from1 to 2:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine Church on Monday April 11th at 3:00 pm with internment in the Saint-Norbert Parish Cemetery in the spring.
