McNutt, Trueman Elroy, 80, of Central North River, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Colchester Regional Hospital Truro. Born in Truro he was a son of the late Leslie and Laura (Roode) McNutt. He was a self-employed woodsman all his life and loved the outdoors and working in the woods. He is survived by sisters, Phyllis, Upper Stewiacke; Katherine, Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Leo, Freeman, Ivan and Layton in infancy; sisters, Cecilia, Margaret. Visitation will be held 1-2pm Monday, April 11, followed by funeral service at 2pm all in the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro, Rev. Brian DeLong officiating, with burial to follow in the Blackmore Memorial Cemetery, Upper North River. Donations may be made to the Blackmore Memorial Cemetery.
