Peacefully at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary, on Thursday, July 30, 2009, of Laura Mae Stewart, formerly of Cape Wolfe, aged 98 years, wife of the late Frank Stewart. Born in Cape Wolfe on July 4, 1911, daughter of the late Raymond and Bernice (Crossman) O’Connor. Stepmother of Frank C Stewart, Texas; and Robert Stewart, Florida. Grandmother of 12 stepgrandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren. Sister of Alfred O’Connor, Hamilton, Ont.; and Trudy Kuhl, of the Lady Slipper Villa, O’Leary. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Ella, Eunice and brothers Edward, Arthur and Daniel. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Friday 2-5 p.m. Funeral on Saturday in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Cape Wolfe United Church Cemetery.
