Helen had a lifelong love and appreciation of music. She studied at the prestigious New England Conservatory of Music.
She was born on February 1, 1925. She is the daughter of late William Ashley and Mary Farrell of St. John's, Newfoundland. She is predeceased by her siblings, Dorothy Connors, William Adrian Ashley, John Ashley, and Gertrude Stamp. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Patrick F. Ashley and A. Lorraine Ashley of Wilmington, Delaware.
Burial will be private.
