It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Peggy) Margaret Shepherd at Royal Inland Hospital on April 7th, 2011.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving children Shirley (Roman) Hessel, Barbra (Micky Pozdzik) Pettit, JoAnn (Ed) Coates, Mary (Brett) Hartshorne, Donna (Bob) Cave and Nancy McMillan, sister Mary Simpson, grandchildren Stacey (Jeremy) Willis, Stewart Wunsch, Michael Pettit, Jolene (Paul) Jacobs, Jennifer (Allen) Ryles, Christopher (Randi) Cave, Clifford (Nicki) Cave, Pamela (Scott) Zaccarelli, Andrea McMillan, and Jonathan McMillan and 16 great grandchildren.

Pre-deceased by her husband Jock Shepherd , brother-in-law George Simpson, brother William (Bill) Addison, son-in-law D’Arcy and grandson Troy Coates.

Elizabeth was born in Nanaimo BC, resided in Prince Rupert (1950 -54), moved to the Yukon in 1954 until 1971 when she moved to Kamloops to join her family. She worked for the City of Kamloops until retirement. She enjoyed “O’s-----“ (Bingo), family, crafts, gardening and vacationing.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
