Passed peacefully away with family at his side at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on April 8, 2011, at the age of 89 1/2 years, Archibald Ralph Giles of Garden Cove, NL. Predeceased by his loving wife, Alma Triffena (nee Hollett), father, Eli Giles, mother, Elsie Giles (nee Gilbert), sisters, Edna and Minnie, brother, Sidney and daughter-in-law Shirley Giles (nee- Piercey). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons, Roland (Greta), Douglas (Wanda), Norman (Connie), daughters, Sheila (Bill), Edna (Billy), Barbara, Gloria (Steven), brother, Clarence (Daphne); grandchildren, Tony, Roland, Julie, Ernest, Chadwick, Bradford, Jason, Robert (BJ), Katerina, Cole, Dean, Kyle, Brittany and Brianna, great grandchildren, Jordan, Alexis, Natasha and Dawson and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at the Memorial United Church, Garden Cove from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Don Stiles, took place on April 11, 2011 with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.
