DUNKLEY: Melvin Charles Rubin Dunkley of Swift Current, SK passed away at his residence on March 30, 2011, at the age of 73 years. A memorial service was held at the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 6, 2011, with Pastor Lorne Davis officiating. The organist was Arlene Olson. Mel is survived by daughters Doreen Dunkley, Janet Dunkley, Sharon Sutherland; sons: Ron Dunkley, Scott Dunkley, Michael Dunkley and Mel Dunkley Jr; grandchildren: Leanne Dunkley, Mathew Brown, Myles and Anna Dunkley; great grandchildren: Devin and Jenna Lang. He was predeceased by his wife Anna Dunkley; mother Ava Smith and father Myles Dunkley. Mel was born at Calgary, AB on January 1, 1938. He married Anna Paul on January 20, 1958. He was a retired truck driver having driven for Arnold Brothers, Kindersley and Kieslyn Transports. His special interests and hobbies included: camping, swimming, watching war shows and documentary shows on T.V., western movies, going for coffee and listening to Marty Robbin's country music. Memorial donations in his memory to the Diabetes Foundation, would be appreciated by the family. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
