CHEESMAN, Grace - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mrs. Grace Cheesman peacefully in her home on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Loved wife of the late Daryle Cheesman. Sadly missed by her daughter Cindy (née Cheesman) Cusack (Brendan). Left to mourn her passing are siblings Francis Moon of Burlington, Estelle Legere of Nelson, BC, Oscar Pigeon (Anne) of Kanata, and Rolland Pigeon of Capreol. Predeceased by one brother Burt Pigeon (late Mary). Grace spent her working years as the head nurse of the operating room at the Hotel Dieu Hospital (Cornwall Community Hospital). Upon her retirement, she was devoted to caring for family and friends. Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall. As by her request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. If so desired, contributions in to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer's Society, or the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
