On April 24, 2017 we lost a great husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend. Our lives changed forever on that day.
We, the family of the late Angus Gillis, would like to send a special thank you to each and everyone of you.
Families-thank you all for being there, especially Rannie and Brenda for the visits and everyday phone calls during Angus illness we so appreciated it and being there for the kids and I after Angus passing. Friends and neighbours-no words can ever express how grateful I am for the Hugs, visits, suppers, phone calls, drive and the goodies you brought Angus during his illness and to the family that thought we needed a hug and brought us a homemade quilt. For everything you have done for me and my family since hugs, visits, Mass cards, donation, phone calls, cards and enough food to last a month. To Patricia Campbell who was our rock through it all. You are family to us and we are so grateful to have you. Co-workers at CBRM, Angus spoke highly of you all; especially “HIS GIRLS” and we can see why you kept in touch with Angus through visits and phone calls during his illness. We thank you for your money donation and phone calls after Angus passing. Father Billy Burke, organist Larklyn Gillis and choir, the service was beautiful. To Kolin Weatherbee and staff for your compassion and professionalism during this difficult time, thank you. The women of St Margaret’s Ladies Aux. for the lovely lunch served at Lady of Fatima Hall after the service you were there for us as always, thank you.
To Raylene Gills for doing Angus eulogy, I knew I picked the right person for his as Rayene and Angus were friends a long time and she knew him well. You done an awesome job and Angus would have loved it. To the readers, Bridge Gillis and Patricia Campbell thank you from all of us. Thank you to everyone who donated to Palliative Care, the Caner Fund and the SPCA in Angus’s name.
Angus will always be in our hearts and we will love him forever
