MUISE, Joseph George “Joey” – age 62, Quinan, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 4, 2017, with his family at his side. Born July 16, 1954 in Quinan, he was a son of Evelyn (Doucette) Muise, Quinan, and the late Joseph Muise. Joey worked as a fish processor and carpenter, and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting. Aside from his mother, Evelyn, Joey is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, as well as by his daughter, Jocelyne (Will) Comeau, British Columbia; a step-daughter, Melissa (Neil) Roberts, along with their children, Grace, Sloan and Kingston; a step-son, Craig (Sarah) DeViller, along with their children, Payton and Hailey. He is also survived by two brothers, Patrick (Barb) Muise, Springhaven and Billy (Joan) Muise, Quinan. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph. Visitation took place from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer vigil at 8 p.m. at H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. Please note that there was no funeral service.
