DOOLEY, Gerald Joseph – Passed away after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Friday, July 31, 2009, Gerald Joseph Dooley, age 77 years. Predeceased by his parents Ron and Flora (Gollop), brothers Allen, Leonard, Ronald and Gordon (Duke). Leaving to mourn his darling wife Carol (Holwell); brother John (Audrey); sisters: Florence Whitten (Douglas), Rose Shemeri (Joe), Montreal; sisters-in-law: Shirley Amend (Jerry), Oklahoma, Sandra Youden (Don), Daphne Holwell, Marilyn Cutler (Caleb) and Shirley Dooley; brothers-in-law: Doug Holwell (Betty), Toronto, Reg Holwell (Mai), Oklahoma, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, special niece Cindy Casey (Dean), special great-nieces Amanda and Jennifer Casey, to him were his grandchildren, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, August 3rd at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
