1939 - 2017
James Flynn passed away suddenly but peacefully on June 6, 2017 in St. John's surrounded by family. Jim was originally from Bell Island. He was predeceased by his parents Rivlyn and Bridget, also from Bell Island, brother Kevin (Irene), sister Mary Acampora (Frank) and bother Gordon. James leaves to mourn his loving and devoted partner Ellen Clarke, bother Edward (Ann) of Concord, California, USA, sister Carol McKenzie (Bill) of Lady Lake, Florida, USA, his children James (Trish Molloy), Michael (Susan), John (Skye) and Bill (Dawn Learning), his grandchildren Kathleen, Mitchell, Samantha, Connor, Declan, Drake, Katelyn and Sarah and his great granddaughter Brooklyn. Jim had a passion for horses and harness racing and was involved in every aspect of the sport for his entire adult life. His family is left with many fond memories of Jim and his love of horses. Cremation has taken place at Jim's request. Resting at Caul's Funeral home on Friday June 9 from 2 pm to 9 pm. Funeral service with take place at Caul's Chapel on Saturday June 10 at 11 am. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada may be made in memory of Jim.
