DENIS (JUNIOR) GREGORY MUISE
October 5, 1947 – June 4, 2017

On Sunday, June 4, 2017 our lives were forever changed with the sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend Denis (Junior) Muise of Doyles at the age of 69 years. Born in South Branch, Denis was the son of the late Denis Sr. and Beatrice Muise. He was predeceased by his loving wife Rita of 41 years in 2010, brothers James Muise, Wayne Muise (Terri), Jerome Muise (Betty), Kenneth Muise (Lil), sister Ella MacNeil (Charlie). A loving and devoted father, Denis will be sadly missed by his children, Son Perry (Lisa) Muise of Mount Pearl, NL, Daughters Sherry Lynn (David) Rodgers of Petawawa, ON, Lorna (Trevor) Crook Middle Sackville, NS, Grandchildren Cassie-Lynn Aucoin and Riley Aucoin. He will forever remain in the hearts of his brothers and sisters Norman (Zita) Muise South Branch, Andrew (Ida) Muise New Brunswick, Marcel (Juliann) Muise South Branch, Wade (Linda) Muise Parksville BC, David (Debbie) Muise Alberta, Eddie (Pam) Muise Alliance AB, Margaret (Joe) Mcevoy Holyrood NL, Patsy (Marshall) Devoe Upper Ferry NL, Augusta (Richard) Aucoin, Marion Spence all of South Branch, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many close friends. Denis or Junior as he was affectionately known loved his family especially his grandchildren. He had a booming contagious laugh that lit up the room wherever he was. He loved square dancing, darts, playing a good game of cards, and in his later years he tried his hand at bingo. Denis will be sadly remembered and forever loved by all who were fortunate enough to have been blessed to have him in their lives. Denis has finally been reunited with the love of his life, his wife Rita. Visitation took place on Friday, June 9 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Upper Ferry. In keeping with his wishes, cremation followed and funeral service took place on Sunday, June 11, 4 pm, at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church officiated by Father Lee Lainey. Interment followed at Mount St. Thomas RC Cemetery, Great Codroy. Flowers graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
