We, the family, wish to express our sincerest appreciation for the thoughtfulness and kindness shown to us during our time of bereavement. Although missing her love and presence, we are so thankful for Mom’s peaceful passing on May 17, 2017 at home with family by her side. Thanks and appreciation is extended to the MacIsaac and MacArthur families who were devoted to Jessie over the years. To all our relatives, neighbours and friends thank you for your gifts of food, monetary donations, memorials, enrollments, Mass cards, sympathy cards, charitable donations and kind sentiments. Thank you to all who visited home, wake and Funeral Mass at Lady of Fatima Church. To Father Bill Burke, your support at the Mass and words of inspiration were a comfort to the family. To Father Paul MacGillivray, your home visit was greatly appreciated. Larklyn Gillis, Lloyd Hussey, Gaelic singer Elizabeth Lord and piper, Jeanette Gillis who played at the church and cemetery, your gift of music was so appreciated by all. Eucharist Ministers and Bereavement team, thank you. To Mom’s granddaughters, Jan MacDonald, Jessesar Mitchell and Roxanne Gillis thank you for your readings and intentions. Heartfelt thanks to the pallbearers, Sandy and Jonathan MacNeil, Greg MacIsaac, Johnnie and Greg MacIsaac and Avery MacDonald. To granddaughters, Jaime Lynn and Akasha thank you for participating in the Offectory. Jane and Ann, “Direct Catering”, your presence and willingness to help with anything needed was a great comfort to the family. Thank you to Bill Curry and staff of T.W. Curry Funeral Home for their professionalism and compassion. To Jimmie Gillis and Bill McCormick thank you for preparing the gravesite. We, as a family, were so blessed to have “Mom” so long as part of our lives. Rest in peace “Mom”.
