The death occurred at his home, on Thursday, June 8, 2017, of Garth Wright, of Borden-Carleton and formerly of Middleton, aged 66 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Charles and Olga (Walsh) Wright. Garth recently retired from Callbecks Home Hardware Building Centre, enjoyed carpenter work, gardening, farming, helping at the Bedeque United Church, travelling and being with people. Survived by his wife Metta (Hansen) Wright; brothers Morley (Bonnie), Fall River, N.S.; Barry (Nancy), Whitby, O.N.; Brian, Middleton; Dean, Summerside; sister-in-law Sherry Wright, Middleton; brother-in-law William (Carolyn) Hansen, Moncton, N.B.; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Wyman; and sisters-in-law Laurie and Kelly Wright. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Funeral service will be held at the Bedeque United Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment later in the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery, Lot 16. Visiting hours will be at the Bedeque United Church, on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
