We, the families of the late Capt. Joseph Pitcher, would like to thank all our friends and family for their help and support during this difficult time. To everyone that phoned, visited, sent cards, sent flowers, made donation in his mane and sent food, thank you. Special thanks to Dr. Michael MacDonald, Dr. George Burns, and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Thanks to Chant’s Funeral Home, whose professionalism and TLC are second to none. Finally, an extra special thank you to the Home Care Workers, whom mom and dad referred to as “their girls”. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
