IVANY, Helen Elizabeth – Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Chesley; brother Jim Newhook; sister Minnie Baldwin. Leaving to mourn daughter Deanne Ivany (Alfred Andriamahady); special friend Joan Scott; a large circle of relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2008. Funeral service to be held at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church on Saturday, November 1st, at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Port Rexton.
