October 30, 1957 – June 13, 2017
On June 13, 2017, Jamie peacefully passed away in Port Alice, B.C. after a short battle with cancer, formally of Head of Hillsborough. His battle was short but long enough for him to see his baby sister Jane, and for her to help him on his final journey. He leaves to mourn three grandchildren, Tanner, Abbi, Kessi and son-in-law Toby Roberts of Port Alice, Two brothers David (Marie), Lester and two sisters Judy O'Brien (Garry), Jane O'Brien (Lloyd), sister-in-law Anita Douglas and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Jessica Roberts, Parents Coffin and Betty Douglas. Brothers Lenard and Paul, his sister and brother-in-law Joan and Pat Demaris. Graveside Service at West St. Peters Cemetery with arrangements to be announced at a later date. Donations to his grandchildren's education fund may be made to the estate of Jamie Douglas and sent to Judy O'Brien, 59 Alberta Dr., Concord, Ontario, L4K 4X4
