Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Friday, July 31, 2009. Mr. Charles Bradbury of Shearstown, aged 77 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Mrs. Elsie Bradbury, parents John and Mae Bradbury, sister Violet (Arthur) Mercer and brother-in-law Edward Boyle. Leaving to mourn: sons Nelson (Christine), John (Norma), Walter (Margo), William (Kathy), Martin; daughter Elaine Parson; sister Edith Boyle; grandchildren Bradley, Danielle, Dustin, Andrew, Jason, Melissa, John, Catlin, Matthew; great grandchildren Cameron, Dylan, Jonathan, Jessie, Ellie, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Orange Lodge, Shearstown. Visitation Saturday, 7-9 p.m.; Sunday, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m.; Monday, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Marks Anglican Church, Shearstown. Cremation to follow. Interment at a later date in the St. Marks Anglican Church Cemetery, Shearstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association.
