The Tennant/Edmands families are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother, and great grandma at the age of 93 in Surrey, BC. Helen Hester (Tennant) Edmands was predeceased by James "Jim "Tennant Nov 22, 1960 and Winston "Stoney" Edmands in 1999 and her stepdaughter Winneth Bence in 2013 and grandson Jamie Tennant in 1991. Left with many cherished memories are her children Jean Tennant Skar, Al (Carol) Tennant, Murray (Anne) Tennant, Brian (Audrey) Tennant, and stepchildren Wray (Carol) Edmands, Carl (Bev) Edmands and Wendy Thayne as well as her younger brother, Jim (Clare) Nisbet. Helen was blessed with her many grandchildren; Sylvia (Geir), Linda (Ole), Wendy, Shawn, David (Deb), Robbie (Krista), Jennifer (Jeff), Gio, Kirsten (Brett), Fraser (Jenn), Kelsey (Bud), Rod, Jim (Janine), Gary (Kim), Tupper (Melissa), Wendy, Greg, Jeff (Laura), Jason (Tara), Cora, Maureen as well numerous great grandchildren who knew her as Grandma Stoney! A graveside service will be held Aug 13, 2017 at 3 pm at Rosedale Cemetery on westside of Moose Jaw. Winston (Stoney) Edmands, Helen's loving husband who passed on May 18, 1999 will be interred at the same time. If you so desire, due to Helen and Stoney's love of owls, a donation could be made to Sask.
