Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Health Science Center. Predeceased by her parents: Duncan and Margaret Snow (Walsh); stepfather Jack Walsh; sister: Alice (Nick) Kennedy; brothers: Duncan Jr. Snow and Terry Walsh. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her devoted husband of 41 years Art; her precious son Stephen (Krista); sisters: Peggy Kent and Patsy (Gerard) Brothers; brothers: Bob (Donna) Walsh and John (Beth) Hanrahan; sister by choice: Florence (Randy) Simms; a large circle of special friends; the daughter Bernice always wanted Joanne; cherished nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. Bernice will be truly missed by all that knew her. Bernice touched the lives of many through her love for the City of Mt. Pearl, she will always be remembered as an outstanding community volunteer. She was named citizen of the year for the City of Mt. Pearl and was a proud council member for 8 years. She also was past president of the Lady's Auxiliary Knights of Columbus. Her love for the people and her city reflected in every thing she did. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. Mt. Pearl. on Sunday, July 2, 2017 and Monday, July 3, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of a Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter's Parish, 110 Ashford Drive.
